I used an old leather briefcase that I found in the trash. The latch doesn’t work so it’s a great object to put stuff in, like curly willow. I hung little glass hearts with twine onto the curly willow branches.
This is the back of the satchel. The blocks with vinyls were from a friend of mine.
Several of the books that are stacked are love stories, or books about love.
I also hung keys from the curly willow branches as well.
I used an old roll of piano paper for a runner.
For more filler and stability, I stuck some burlap on top.
I love the vintage Valentine cards. I used frogs to hold those up.
I’m going to throw some chocolate conversation hearts on the table also, I’m just waiting until Sunday dinner.
